An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Azua in the 23rd minute of play forced Olivares's goalkeeper Eate Astudillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Azua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Olivares getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Benat Gavilanes hit a great ball. Rosario FC's Atauri Jonsansoro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 45th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Olivares. Aurre Traspuesto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eate Astudillo having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Chano Babiano made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chano Babiano in the 60th minute of play forced Rosario FC's goalkeeper Donostia Cobreros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donostia Cobreros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chano Babiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rosario FC's zone, Xefe Bango stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donostia Cobreros came out of the goal and Xefe Bango tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pio Eugenio's late challenge caught a Rosario FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
