The referee showed Xavies Roldan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Dalmu Galdeano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurre Traspuesto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ignacio Hermosilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aurre Traspuesto struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Ignacio Hermosilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosario FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Precioso Osuna in the 29th minute of play forced Ypacaraí FC's goalkeeper Ignacio Hermosilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Albino Giral put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Donostia Cobreros. Donostia Cobreros was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Laureano Quincoces. The supporters of Ypacaraí FC booed when Rosario FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Cimas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albino Giral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donostia Cobreros having to interfere. Donostia Cobreros didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 42nd minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Donostia Cobreros was a little too slow when Zacarias Torralbo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zacarias Torralbo made a kick off. Donostia Cobreros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacarias Torralbo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rosario FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurre Traspuesto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ignacio Hermosilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute, Albino Giral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Donostia Cobreros was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Zacarias Torralbo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Donostia Cobreros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the game, Florencio Manzano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ypacaraí FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rosario FC the free kick.
