After a defensive mix-up in Elite's zone, Gipuzkoa Boiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ezkerra Guillen came out of the goal and Gipuzkoa Boiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Club Guarani booed when Elite was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aztore Hernaiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gipuzkoa Boiro in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ezkerra Guillen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th minute, Club Guarani's Gipuzkoa Boiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 31st minute Elizardo Teresa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederico Dios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Guarani's Frederico Dios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elizardo Teresa in the 33rd minute of play. Frederico Dios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elizardo Teresa in the 34th minute of the match. Jimeno Monterros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Frederico Dios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jimeno Monterros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Monterros in the 52nd minute of play forced Club Guarani's goalkeeper Frederico Dios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Club Guarani's Modesto Zulaica got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Elizardo Teresa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Frederico Dios made a huge save. 58 minutes into the match, Elite's Jimeno Monterros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frederico Dios narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Club Guarani getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Modesto Zulaica hit a great ball. Elite's Claus Cerrajeria couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Club Guarani. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Monterros in the 64th minute of play forced Club Guarani's goalkeeper Frederico Dios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Celestino Pasqua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nando Sator fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Guarani's protests and gave Nando Sator a yellow card for diving instead. Frederico Dios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimeno Monterros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th match minute, Club Guarani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modesto Zulaica to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Jimeno Monterros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elite's supporters rose to their feet, but Jimeno Monterros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frederico Dios breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frederico Dios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimeno Monterros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led Club Guarani's Videl Montarco to fire away a dangerous shot which Ezkerra Guillen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Maiorga Lusa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Guarani's supporters rose to their feet, but Maiorga Lusa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. For all the effort they put into the match, the Elite players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Club Guarani.
