If Jimeno Monterros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurre Traspuesto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezkerra Guillen having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Danilo Cimas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 18 minutes, Claus Cerrajeria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elite's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claus Cerrajeria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Precioso Osuna kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After 22 played minutes Rosario FC got a freekick which was hit by Precioso Osuna. Jimeno Monterros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 26 minutes into the game, Guerau Almonacid was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rosario FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Elite the free kick. Guerau Almonacid kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Elizardo Teresa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Elizardo Teresa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jimeno Monterros might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donostia Cobreros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jimeno Monterros ran back to his position shaking his head. Elite's Ezkerra Guillen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Azua in the 40th minute of play. After some careless play in the Elite defense, Aurre Traspuesto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ezkerra Guillen. The Elite fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ezkerra Guillen should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jimeno Monterros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Elite's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Azua came free, but Ezkerra Guillen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Aurre Traspuesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ezkerra Guillen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Azua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Azua in the 62nd minute of play forced Elite's goalkeeper Ezkerra Guillen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Aurre Traspuesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elizardo Teresa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, Elizardo Teresa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Donostia Cobreros. The goal made the score 3-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felipe Azua in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ezkerra Guillen saved Elite from getting behind. In the 86th minute, Felipe Azua ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ezkerra Guillen was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Donostia Cobreros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimeno Monterros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Monterros in the 96th minute of play forced Rosario FC's goalkeeper Donostia Cobreros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Elite players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rosario FC.
