Spectators: 6785 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1785, VIP seats: 0) When Samuel Balpuesta came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Achaval fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Balpuesta couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Araoz Marcello took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Birila Ziarza to make any attempt to save it. Efren Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igon Banzola, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Pedroso Andibidria was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Acahay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Achaval the free kick. Birila Ziarza came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Acahay's Rito Chirinos. But to his dismay, Rito Chirinos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 22nd minute Araoz Marcello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birila Ziarza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rito Chirinos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Birila Ziarza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Samuel Balpuesta notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Acahay's Efren Barbosa. Efren Barbosa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Acahay booed when Achaval was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Represa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Achaval's Birila Ziarza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Achaval from getting a goal against them. If Igon Banzola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Acahay's Jorge Rebenga got a free kick in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igon Banzola to make the kick off. Xzavier Bucaran's late challenge caught a Achaval's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xzavier Bucaran helped the player get up and apologised. Xzavier Bucaran kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Igon Banzola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efren Barbosa having to interfere. In the 57th minute Araoz Marcello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birila Ziarza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igon Banzola in the 61st minute of play forced Acahay's goalkeeper Efren Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tavio Catanach hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Acahay's zone, Igon Banzola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efren Barbosa came out of the goal and Igon Banzola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Achaval's Samuel Balpuesta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Efren Barbosa. That made the score 2-2 after 73 minutes of play. If Samuel Balpuesta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tavio Catanach hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igon Banzola in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Efren Barbosa saved Acahay from getting behind. In the 81st minute, Igon Banzola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Achaval's Birila Ziarza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rito Chirinos in the 84th minute of play. Birila Ziarza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rito Chirinos in the 87th minute of the match. Birila Ziarza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Araoz Marcello in the 88th minute of play. In the 92nd match minute, Acahay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ereinotz Oropeza to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the match, Acahay's goal looked a bit too open when Igon Banzola came free, but Efren Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
