After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Rito Chirinos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Acahay's supporters rose to their feet, but Rito Chirinos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natanael Solarriba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 7th minute, Sergi Elorregui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gartzea Guiu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Efren Barbosa. Acahay's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the last second Natanael Solarriba throw himself and got hold of the ball when Araoz Marcello in the 11thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Acahay's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lalo Mazuelo in the 13th minute. Acahay's Lalo Mazuelo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Natanael Solarriba in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match had been going on for 17 minutes Xzavier Bucaran shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Natanael Solarriba when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. Acahay's Araoz Marcello got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute Jacindo Arvelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efren Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Tavio Catanach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacindo Arvelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Efren Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 33 minutes, Xurde Lelerre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ihacanguazu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xurde Lelerre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sadurni Hompanera took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Natanael Solarriba. Ihacanguazu FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Acahay's Rito Chirinos got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Natanael Solarriba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Araoz Marcello, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute, Tavio Catanach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Natanael Solarriba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rito Chirinos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xurde Lelerre struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Efren Barbosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ihacanguazu FC. 61 minutes into the game, Tavio Catanach was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Acahay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ihacanguazu FC the free kick. In the 63rd minute, Xurde Lelerre made a precise shot to the right of Efren Barbosa. Acahay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 66th match minute, Ihacanguazu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xamo Arenal to maneuver through the defense. Jacindo Arvelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Acahay's Efren Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xurde Lelerre in the 71st minute of play. Araoz Marcello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natanael Solarriba having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Jacindo Arvelo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ihacanguazu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacindo Arvelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. If Jacindo Arvelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
