An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Bodon in the 26th minute of play forced Capiibary's goalkeeper Arnau Catalan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Charro Hornedo got free with Arnau Catalan in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd minute, Alfredo Bodon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Raymundo Castreciones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Rosarito AFC booed when Capiibary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaxan Lerma didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnau Catalan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Charro Hornedo went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score.

Alfredo Bodon took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnau Catalan. Arnau Catalan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 69th minute of the match Crescencio Oberto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnau Catalan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 75th minute Alfredo Bodon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnau Catalan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Hustaz Munarriz took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Esquipula Favalis to make any attempt to save it. After 80 played minutes Capiibary got a freekick which was hit by Bernabe Rabin. If Charro Hornedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Raymundo Castreciones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
