A collision led to Estrella getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Iigo Zalvide hit a great ball. Quintun Alborja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute, Quintun Alborja got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tiadoro Farran might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Laureano Cadrecha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tiadoro Farran ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpected shot in the 26th minute by Joaquim Zumaya got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Joaquim Zumaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquim Zumaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Cadrecha having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ypytu's zone, Tiadoro Farran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laureano Cadrecha came out of the goal and Tiadoro Farran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Quintun Alborja came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Ypytu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quintun Alborja couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Estrella booed when Ypytu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ostots Guztros didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute Tiadoro Farran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laureano Cadrecha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quintun Alborja scored 0-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tabb Villaescusa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tiadoro Farran to make the kick off. Joaquim Zumaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ypytu fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! Ypytu's Laureano Cadrecha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiadoro Farran in the 75th minute of play. If Joaquim Zumaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
