Iago Prats might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rencio Rancaño. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iago Prats ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Me la Suda F.C. defense, Arnaldo Madrazo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rencio Rancaño. The Me la Suda F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rencio Rancaño should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Me la Suda F.C. getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Cordareo Martijana hit a great ball. Rencio Rancaño stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iago Prats's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. In the 17th minute Calisto Villandiego shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sindo Amocia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sindo Amocia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calisto Villandiego, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the game, Duarte's Arnaldo Madrazo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rencio Rancaño made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Ponce Inguanzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Iago Prats came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Duarte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iago Prats couldn't finish the play. Meder Puentes hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Arnaldo Madrazo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Rencio Rancaño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iago Prats might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rencio Rancaño. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iago Prats ran back to his position shaking his head. Hitzeder Martin in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sindo Amocia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnaldo Madrazo was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Duarte booed when Me la Suda F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beat Guim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iago Prats sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hitzeder Martin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sindo Amocia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Calisto Villandiego's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Me la Suda F.C.! The supporters of Duarte booed when Me la Suda F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Senin Espinola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rencio Rancaño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Madrazo, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Asur Urbino charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Asur Urbino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 80 played minutes Duarte got a freekick which was hit by Asur Urbino. 81 minutes into the match, Duarte's goal looked a bit too open when Hitzeder Martin came free, but Sindo Amocia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Me la Suda F.C.'s Rencio Rancaño proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Me la Suda F.C. from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Me la Suda F.C.'s Cordareo Martijana got a free kick in the 91st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Iago Prats managed to get in a good position for a shot. Duarte's supporters rose to their feet, but Iago Prats was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rencio Rancaño breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Me la Suda F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Duarte were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
