Spectators: 6796 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1796, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Domingo Mauricio kicked off to start the match. When Selmo Basco came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Cristóbal Colón FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Selmo Basco couldn't finish the play. Barea Alsina who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Inocente Ferreira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidor Laiseca in the 6th minute of play forced Limpio's goalkeeper Luis Verda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Limpio's Barea Alsina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Inocente Ferreira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luis Verda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Selmo Basco in the 15th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Luzaide Hormaza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Verda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Barea Alsina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Limpio's Domingo Mauricio got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Limpio getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Lugo Inchaurdi hit a great ball. Barea Alsina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isidor Laiseca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luis Verda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

51 minutes into the match, Limpio's goal looked a bit too open when Selmo Basco came free, but Luis Verda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Verda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidor Laiseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. A collision led to Limpio getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Lugo Inchaurdi hit a great ball. Selmo Basco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Luis Verda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Verda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Selmo Basco in the 57th minute of play. Selmo Basco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Verda having to interfere. Barea Alsina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Inocente Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iratxo Igartua kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingo Mauricio in the 94th minute of play forced Cristóbal Colón FC's goalkeeper Inocente Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
