Spectators: 7804 (Terracing: 5896, Seating: 1808, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Leonardo Beite kicked off to start the match. In the 14th minute, Cristóbal Colón FC's Selmo Basco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Florencio Clavijo. Florencio Clavijo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Florencio Clavijo made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Isidor Laiseca sent off a good shot on target. When Selmo Basco came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Cristóbal Colón FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Selmo Basco couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd play minute Isidor Laiseca came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Florencio Clavijo. 2-0. Isidor Laiseca might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florencio Clavijo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isidor Laiseca ran back to his position shaking his head. Isidor Laiseca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florencio Clavijo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Cristóbal Colón FC's Isidor Laiseca got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 42 played minutes Selmo Basco rounded Princesa AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. The supporters of Cristóbal Colón FC booed when Princesa AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Castrejana didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Cristóbal Colón FC's Chano Ascargorta broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Selmo Basco to strike the kick off in the second half. Princesa AFC's Florencio Clavijo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Selmo Basco in the 54th minute of play. When Leonardo Beite came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Princesa AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Beite couldn't finish the play. Inocente Ferreira made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Elvio Ygnacio sent off a good shot on target. Isidor Laiseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Florencio Clavijo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruben Portocarrero kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After 73 played minutes, Cristóbal Colón FC's Chano Ascargorta shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Florencio Clavijo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cristóbal Colón FC reached it. When Leonardo Beite came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Princesa AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Beite couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isidor Laiseca in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florencio Clavijo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Selmo Basco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruben Portocarrero kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Selmo Basco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Isidor Laiseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute Isidor Laiseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florencio Clavijo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
