After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Elvio Ygnacio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Princesa AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elvio Ygnacio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felipo Arbaiza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 6 minutes, Foro Hortigosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Encarnacion and the Princesa AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Encarnacion getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Foro Hortigosa hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Asteri Falco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florencio Clavijo was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Asteri Falco in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florencio Clavijo saved Princesa AFC from getting behind. Leonardo Beite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipo Arbaiza having to interfere. When Asteri Falco fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Encarnacion's protests and gave Asteri Falco a yellow card for diving instead. Asteri Falco kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Leonardo Beite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Felipo Arbaiza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Encarnacion's Samuel Bilbao nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Florencio Clavijo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Florencio Clavijo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asteri Falco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Encarnacion's Felipo Arbaiza got control of the ball when Leonardo Beite tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30th minute, Alvaro Castrejana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute of the match Belmiro Aras shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Florencio Clavijo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Asteri Falco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Belmiro Aras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Asteri Falco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Florencio Clavijo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonardo Beite made a kick off. Leonardo Beite hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. If Asteri Falco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Princesa AFC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Lixandro Berdu hit a great ball. The long shot by Belmiro Aras in the 61st minute really tested Florencio Clavijo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Elvio Ygnacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Felipo Arbaiza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elvio Ygnacio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Elvio Ygnacio came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Princesa AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elvio Ygnacio couldn't finish the play. Foro Hortigosa hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Encarnacion's Marcos Arango got a free kick in the 81st minute. Felipo Arbaiza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elvio Ygnacio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elvio Ygnacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Felipo Arbaiza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Elvio Ygnacio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Princesa AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 95 played minutes Encarnacion got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Arango. 2-1 became the score in the 97th minute when Leonardo Beite elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Princesa AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
