Spectators: 6655 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 155) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Asteri Falco started the match with the kick off. Asteri Falco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Inocente Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 6 minutes into the match, Cristóbal Colón FC's goalkeeper Inocente Ferreira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuel Bilbao. Inocente Ferreira was a little too slow when Asteri Falco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. Selmo Basco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felipo Arbaiza having to make a save. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Encarnacion's goalkeeper Felipo Arbaiza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Maximino Arrieta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felipo Arbaiza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Selmo Basco in the 31st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Encarnacion's Belmiro Aras got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Chano Ascargorta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felipo Arbaiza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. When Foro Hortigosa came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Encarnacion fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Foro Hortigosa couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd match minute, Encarnacion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patxi Pro to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Selmo Basco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Isidor Laiseca who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Felipo Arbaiza when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Selmo Basco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipo Arbaiza having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Selmo Basco took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Felipo Arbaiza to make any attempt to save it. Isidor Laiseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipo Arbaiza having to interfere. After 69 played minutes Cristóbal Colón FC got a freekick which was hit by Iratxo Igartua. In the 74th minute, Asteri Falco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Encarnacion fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After having played for 78 minutes, Gau Gambo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Encarnacion's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gau Gambo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st minute, Asteri Falco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Inocente Ferreira was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Foro Hortigosa hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute, Isidor Laiseca made a precise shot to the right of Felipo Arbaiza. Encarnacion's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. In the 96th minute Asteri Falco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocente Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Encarnacion were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cristóbal Colón FC for a fine match.
