Marciano Hordoñez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blanco Guevara having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Vinicio Bozo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Angelito FC's Flor Poso. Flor Poso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marciano Hordoñez got free with Blanco Guevara in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Flor Poso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinicio Bozo, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pirro Villarroel to strike the kick off in the second half. Aires Aelle hit a great ball. In the 87th minute, Marciano Hordoñez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
