In the 33rd play minute Guifre Saiz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Goiz Selgas. 2-0. Balasi Sobera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaen Soveron in the 45th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xaven Guerra to make the kick off. Goiz Selgas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mogel Villabol, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Matorral AFC's Balasi Sobera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xaven Guerra in the 54th minute of play. Xaven Guerra who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Balasi Sobera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Hermon Jaen came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Matorral AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermon Jaen couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute, Guifre Saiz made a precise shot to the right of Goiz Selgas. Francisco's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Guifre Saiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Goiz Selgas having to interfere. Vennancio Arellanes's late challenge caught a Matorral AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vennancio Arellanes helped the player get up and apologised. Vennancio Arellanes kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Matorral AFC had played much better football throughout.
