The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Iturbe booed when Francisco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bazkoare Robles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Goiz Selgas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gomez Cerredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After 8 minutes, Xavion Egaña mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Iturbe and the Francisco players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th match minute, Francisco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaxan Gandulla to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 14 minutes, Xavion Egaña managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iturbe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xavion Egaña was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Iturbe booed when Francisco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bazkoare Robles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Goiz Selgas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavion Egaña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Xavion Egaña left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Iturbe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 26th match minute, Francisco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bazkoare Robles to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Iturbe's zone, Jaen Soveron stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blasco Rosser came out of the goal and Jaen Soveron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Iturbe getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Tallia Tome hit a great ball. If Gomez Cerredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Goiz Selgas came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Iturbe's Xavion Egaña. But to his dismay, Xavion Egaña quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 45 minutes into the game, one of Francisco:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 47th minute there was a penalty for Iturbe. Romildo Bacete stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Goiz Selgas. 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Jaen Soveron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Xaven Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Iturbe's Goiz Selgas threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Xavion Egaña, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gomez Cerredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristo Cachon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gomez Cerredos short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Goiz Selgas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Cristo Cachon fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Iturbe's protests and gave Cristo Cachon a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Francisco booed when Iturbe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristo Cachon didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Iturbe's Xavion Egaña slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Goiz Selgas. That made the score 1-4 after 86 minutes of play. If Xavion Egaña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Goiz Selgas made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Gomez Cerredo sent off a good shot on target. Iturbe played a much better game than Francisco and deserved their victory. The Francisco players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
