In the 9thth minute of the game Evaristo Barquerin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pelanca FC's Isauro Santurde was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 11 played minutes Natalio FC got a freekick which was hit by Rey Bustinaga. Roland Caldevila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Murueta, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Natalio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Murueta came free, but Roland Caldevila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hernan Murueta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Caldevila having to interfere. Roland Caldevila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artaldo Parayos in the 42nd minute of play. Artaldo Parayos scored 2-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roland Caldevila, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Artaldo Parayos to strike the kick off in the second half. If Artaldo Parayos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Artaldo Parayos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hernan Murueta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Roland Caldevila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pelanca FC's Mariano Alaña got a free kick in the 70th minute. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Evaristo Barquerin sped through Pelanca FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Isauro Santurde. Evaristo Barquerin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isauro Santurde read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. The supporters of Natalio FC booed when Pelanca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillem Orbe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roland Caldevila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artaldo Parayos in the 78th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Guillem Orbe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evaristo Barquerin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Isauro Santurde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pelanca FC's Artaldo Parayos got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 88 minutes of play, Pelanca FC's Hernan Murueta made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roland Caldevila was left in no man's land by his defense there! Donostia Mayorga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Pelanca FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pelanca FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
