The ball went over the crossbar instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Americo Virto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentino Area in the 58th minute of the match. Xoan Torcida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gizon Balza kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentino Area in the 86th minute of play forced Atletico Ciclon Club's goalkeeper Americo Virto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Florentino Area ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Americo Virto was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cibran Cerredo got free with Gilesindo Elguera in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Atletico Ciclon Club's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
