Spectators: 6782 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rodolfo Ruiloba got the match started through his kick off. When Rodolfo Ruiloba came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Catan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Ruiloba couldn't finish the play. In the 7th minute Josepe Ondategui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paco Surga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Catan's Hunfredo Tros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marz Corbella in the 16th minute of play. Hunfredo Tros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marz Corbella in the 17th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Lordi Gomara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mbocayaty AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lordi Gomara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hunfredo Tros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jorge Broz charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorge Broz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Catan getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Jorge Broz hit a great ball. The supporters of Mbocayaty AFC booed when Catan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xose Rechani didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rdth minute of the game Marz Corbella who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Catan's Hunfredo Tros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paco Surga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Ruiloba in the 38th minute of play. Hunfredo Tros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lordi Gomara in the 39th minute. Rodolfo Ruiloba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Catan were furious when Ruy Mecaur was red carded, 44 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Catan:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mbocayaty AFC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 47 minutes, Mbocayaty AFC's Silbestre Mallavia got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Hunfredo Tros. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Marz Corbella made the kick off in the second half. Marz Corbella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Catan's Hunfredo Tros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lordi Gomara in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Lordi Gomara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mbocayaty AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 68 minutes into the game, Josepe Ondategui cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Paco Surga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 72nd match minute, Catan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reno Lecuna to maneuver through the defense. Javier Casaña hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. A collision led to Catan getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Xose Rechani hit a great ball. Jorge Broz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 81st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Paco Surga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Josepe Ondategui in the 82nd minute. Hunfredo Tros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lordi Gomara, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Josepe Ondategui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Paco Surga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lordi Gomara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mbocayaty AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
