In the 15th minute, Rutenio Mesones hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the last second Araoz Aramburu throw himself and got hold of the ball when Dolcet Vivaldo in the 18thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Dolcet Vivaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot. clud olimpia's supporters rose to their feet, but Dolcet Vivaldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Araoz Aramburu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yhu's Araoz Aramburu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Yhu from getting a goal against them. Fausto Vinuesa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Araoz Aramburu having to interfere. When Xzavaier Asteguieta came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Yhu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xzavaier Asteguieta couldn't finish the play. If Xzavaier Asteguieta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Fausto Vinuesa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Yhu getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Primitivo Maya hit a great ball. If Dolcet Vivaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. Araoz Aramburu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Mencia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sugar Bertiz during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sugar Bertiz hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 57th minute, when Yhu's Ildefonso Moscoso after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Cordearo Tagle in clud olimpia's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Cordearo Tagle was a little too slow when Xzavaier Asteguieta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 1-1. 64 minutes into the game, Primitivo Maya was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yhu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave clud olimpia the free kick. A collision led to Yhu getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Primitivo Maya hit a great ball. In the 66th minute, Ivan Mencia made a precise shot to the right of Cordearo Tagle. clud olimpia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 70th minute, Leo Poblaciàn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 72 minutes into the game, when Xavieon Pipa put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in clud olimpia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! Araoz Aramburu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Vinuesa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fausto Vinuesa scored 2-3 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Araoz Aramburu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fausto Vinuesa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Araoz Aramburu having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in clud olimpia's zone, Xzavaier Asteguieta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cordearo Tagle came out of the goal and Xzavaier Asteguieta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, clud olimpia's Seme Chumacero got a free kick in the 88th minute. If Ivan Mencia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Yhu's Xzavaier Asteguieta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cordearo Tagle. That made the score 2-4 after 94 minutes of play. In the 97th match minute, Yhu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Poblaciàn to maneuver through the defense. In the 99th minute of the match, Ivan Mencia got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cordearo Tagle was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 101 played minutes Yhu got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Moscoso. The Yhu supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Yhu would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
