Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Primo Elberdin started the match with the kick off. Loreto Oribe took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leandro Arraya. Leandro Arraya dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 6 minutes into the match, Paraguari's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Lecubarri came free, but Azibar Arnuero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Teofilo Lecubarri could shoot a difficult shot in the 9th minute, which Azibar Arnuero however easily saved by the left post. After 9 played minutes Paraguari got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias Mondrevilla. Azibar Arnuero was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Primo Elberdin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 11 minute of play. Azibar Arnuero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primo Elberdin, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Ferrer Balboa's late challenge caught a Asunción FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferrer Balboa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th match minute, Paraguari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferrer Balboa to maneuver through the defense. Teofilo Lecubarri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Azibar Arnuero made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Remir Leis during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 19 played minutes Paraguari got a freekick which was hit by Remir Leis. Azibar Arnuero acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 20th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Urki Bernia. 27 minutes into the match, Paraguari's goalkeeper Azibar Arnuero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teofilo Lecubarri. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Primo Elberdin in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Azibar Arnuero saved Paraguari from getting behind. In the 31st minute of the match, Teofilo Lecubarri got a very nice opportunity to score, but Azibar Arnuero was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Azibar Arnuero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Primo Elberdin's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Colon Castorena in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Azibar Arnuero saved Paraguari from getting behind. 42 minutes into the match, Paraguari's goalkeeper Azibar Arnuero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teofilo Lecubarri. Azibar Arnuero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primo Elberdin in the 44th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Primo Elberdin took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Azibar Arnuero to make any attempt to save it. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jakue Peroria made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Timoteo Echaez sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Paraguari's Azibar Arnuero didn't even have to move. In the 59th minute Primo Elberdin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Azibar Arnuero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vitorino Osma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Azibar Arnuero having to interfere. 62 minutes into the game, Teofilo Lecubarri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Azibar Arnuero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tomas Pumar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Azibar Arnuero having to interfere. After 67 minutes, Teofilo Lecubarri made it 4-2 with a short kick to the right side. Paraguari's Azibar Arnuero tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Asunción FC's Primo Elberdin in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paraguari's goalie prevented a goal. 74 minutes into the game, Eguntsenti Ferreiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paraguari's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Asunción FC the free kick. 78 minutes into the match, Teofilo Lecubarri notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Paraguari's Azibar Arnuero. Azibar Arnuero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 83rd minute Tomas Pumar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Azibar Arnuero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 88 minutes, Sansone Villaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paraguari and the Asunción FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tomas Pumar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Teofilo Lecubarri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Azibar Arnuero having to interfere. Primo Elberdin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Azibar Arnuero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Asunción FC fully deserved thier win.
