Quyquyho's Baltasar Fontanez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Quyquyho from getting a goal against them. Quyquyho's Baltasar Fontanez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Basozabal in the 19th minute of play. When Quyquyho's Valdo Ibarguen in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Canete AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After 25th play minutes Modesto Sagarribay shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Baltasar Fontanez and just under the crossbar into goal. 29 minutes into the match, Modesto Sagarribay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baltasar Fontanez. Quyquyho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Modesto Sagarribay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. If Valdo Ibarguen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Canete AFC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Gutxi Malburgo hit a great ball. Moncho Curbelo charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moncho Curbelo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Quyquyho's Manolito Basurto got a free kick in the 44th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Canete AFC's Perutxo Marva tried to score from far away in the 45th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Esteban Basozabal to strike the kick off in the second half. When Esteban Basozabal, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 51 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Baltasar Fontanez was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Baltasar Fontanez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Basozabal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esteban Basozabal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Baltasar Fontanez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Modesto Sagarribay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baltasar Fontanez was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Esteban Basozabal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Baltasar Fontanez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sotil Tamayo struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Tito Rujido didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quyquyho. In the 65th minute Valdo Ibarguen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tito Rujido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Modesto Sagarribay in the 67th minute of play forced Quyquyho's goalkeeper Baltasar Fontanez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 68 minutes, Esteban Basozabal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canete AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteban Basozabal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Canete AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Valdo Ibarguen came free, but Tito Rujido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gutxi Malburgo fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canete AFC's protests and gave Gutxi Malburgo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Canete AFC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Gutxi Malburgo hit a great ball. Tito Rujido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdo Ibarguen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sotil Tamayo in the 91st minute of play forced Canete AFC's goalkeeper Tito Rujido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Canete AFC had won after a very even match.
