The audience thought a goal was coming when Serafin Oñate got free with Vicemte Aldana in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alonso Villarin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Platero getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Adriana Suero hit a great ball. Vicemte Aldana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Forcen in the 9th minute of play. Vicemte Aldana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stephen Areta, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Serafin Oñate struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Vicemte Aldana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tacuaty FC. Stephen Areta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vicemte Aldana came out and tried to block the shot, but Stephen Areta slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 11th minute. Gutierrre Feijo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Velasco Mayoral, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Silvestre Heredia hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the game, Alonso Villarin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vicemte Aldana. Alonso Villarin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Platero's zone, Leopoldo Forcen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicemte Aldana came out of the goal and Leopoldo Forcen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Serafin Oñate came free with the goalkeeper in the 33rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vicemte Aldana could save by the left post. It was a brilliant solo performance by Tacuaty FC's Leopoldo Forcen when he shot the ball into the net to 3-0 in the 38th minute. 44 minutes into the match, Platero's goal looked a bit too open when Alonso Villarin came free, but Vicemte Aldana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Serafin Oñate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Velasco Mayoral was the one to do the kick off. Tacuaty FC were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Platero's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Godofredo Tendiero took the corner. In the 56th minute, Serafin Oñate ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vicemte Aldana was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Serafin Oñate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 64 minutes, Silvestre Heredia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Platero and the Tacuaty FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tacuaty FC's Eleuterio Pallar got a free kick in the 67th minute. The supporters of Tacuaty FC booed when Platero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Heredia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Platero's zone, Serafin Oñate stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicemte Aldana came out of the goal and Serafin Oñate tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 75 played minutes Tacuaty FC got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Pallar. In the 78th minute, Silvestre Heredia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Peli Santillana came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Tacuaty FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peli Santillana couldn't finish the play. Vicemte Aldana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alonso Villarin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, Peli Santillana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vicemte Aldana. Platero's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Peli Santillana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Stephen Areta struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Vicemte Aldana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tacuaty FC. After 95 minutes, Peli Santillana made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Platero's Vicemte Aldana tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tacuaty FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
