The supporters of Deportivo San Antonio booed when Tacuara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldir Justo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Handi Redeño took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dolcet Outon. Tacuara's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gelmiro Godos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Jokin Sorriba made a huge save. Dolcet Outon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Weterio Espinoso in the 22nd minute of play. Xeromo Peñarroja recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xeromo Peñarroja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Jokin Sorriba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Jokin Sorriba successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Min Alcantara hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After 38 played minutes Tab Perdices shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Deportivo San Antonio's Jokin Sorriba to catch but Tab Perdices was lucky. It became 1-0 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Xeromo Peñarroja made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Xeromo Peñarroja managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tacuara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xeromo Peñarroja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 53 minutes into the match, Deportivo San Antonio's goal looked a bit too open when Xeromo Peñarroja came free, but Jokin Sorriba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. One of Deportivo San Antonio:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tacuara:s goal. Gelmiro Godos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Jokin Sorriba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tacuara had won after a very even match.
