The referee ignored Minga Guazú FC's protests and gave Calixto Morellana a yellow card for diving instead. If Agustin Bazo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Minga Guazú FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Calixto Morellana hit a great ball. Honrio Marzana, 93 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Xosepe Besga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Xabel Garibay when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match was over Amambay FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Minga Guazú FC throughout the match.
