Republica de Luque's Oton Borinaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Txordon Noguerol in the 9th minute of play. Loiola Afraga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Haimar Garza made a huge save. After 18 played minutes Republica de Luque got a freekick which was hit by Lalo Villariño. After recieving a nice pass, Capibindi FC's Joanes Cabredo tried to score from far away in the 19th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Txordon Noguerol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oton Borinaga having to interfere. Bero Magallanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Oton Borinaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Txordon Noguerol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the match, Txordon Noguerol notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Republica de Luque's Oton Borinaga. Oton Borinaga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Txordon Noguerol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oton Borinaga having to interfere. Oton Borinaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bero Magallanes in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Bero Magallanes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Oton Borinaga made a huge save. Oton Borinaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Txordon Noguerol, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Republica de Luque's Oton Borinaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Txordon Noguerol in the 87th minute of play. After having played for 93 minutes, Bero Magallanes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capibindi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bero Magallanes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bero Magallanes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oton Borinaga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play.
