With his leg Uzuri Bocanegra managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Mbarigui's Magdaleno Gondian fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 12 minutes into the game, Licerio Roldan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mbarigui's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pilcomayo the free kick. After 13 played minutes Mbarigui got a freekick which was hit by Licerio Roldan. Mbarigui's Cordairo Sorzano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremy Urones in the 14th minute of play. In the 20th minute Alvaro Antoñano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uzuri Bocanegra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guifre Alen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee showed Javier Olivarez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mbarigui fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Pilcomayo a penalty, 39 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Joel Sotuela, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mbarigui's Cordairo Sorzano. 0-2. Jeremy Urones took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cordairo Sorzano. Cordairo Sorzano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The Mbarigui players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pilcomayo were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alvaro Antoñano made a kick off. Jeremy Urones fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cordairo Sorzano having to interfere. Guifre Alen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cordairo Sorzano firmly grabbed it by the left post. 60 minutes into the game, Pilcomayo's Guifre Alen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cordairo Sorzano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Maximo Cadimo got his second yellow card in the match during the 64th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Martin Verganzo hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the game, Mbarigui's Alvaro Antoñano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Uzuri Bocanegra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guifre Alen got free with Cordairo Sorzano in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 84 minutes into the game, Jeremy Urones was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pilcomayo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mbarigui the free kick. In the 85th minute, Jeremy Urones hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 88 minutes, Jeremy Urones managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pilcomayo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremy Urones was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Magdaleno Gondian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uzuri Bocanegra having to interfere. Pilcomayo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
