After 11 played minutes Club Telöken got a freekick which was hit by Igon Garcia. Stephen Barbeito made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Manu Eguilaz sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd minute Gaizkine Giribet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Goito Cadorniga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manu Eguilaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Stephen Barbeito made a huge save. Stephen Barbeito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sadurni Bidaurre in the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Gaizkine Giribet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Telöken fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 32nd match minute, Club Telöken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Euloxu Puente to maneuver through the defense. If Sadurni Bidaurre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stephen Barbeito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sadurni Bidaurre in the 37th minute of play. Sadurni Bidaurre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephen Barbeito having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Sadurni Bidaurre fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Manu Eguilaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Stephen Barbeito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaizkine Giribet was the one to do the kick off. When Club Telöken's Derwin Mejina in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Itapiru AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Club Telöken's Chorache Antequera was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Goito Cadorniga in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Feliu Aldasoro hit a great ball. Feliu Aldasoro was shown his second yellow card after 75 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After having played for 79 minutes, Sadurni Bidaurre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itapiru AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sadurni Bidaurre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 80 played minutes Club Telöken got a freekick which was hit by Javier Loriga. Manu Eguilaz took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stephen Barbeito. Stephen Barbeito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 85th minute, Manu Eguilaz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Itapiru AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Club Telöken's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itapiru AFC the free kick. After 92 played minutes Club Telöken got a freekick which was hit by Igon Garcia. After having played for 96 minutes, Sadurni Bidaurre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itapiru AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sadurni Bidaurre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that Itapiru AFC were the better team. Itapiru AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
