The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Timoteo Benegas notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Coratei AFC's Niolaao Medina. Niolaao Medina was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Yrendague's Rainerio Gorostarzu in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Illart Lebon in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haroldo Cardeño saved Yrendague from getting behind. In the 42nd minute, Iliana Juara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Goi Bargues was extremely unlucky when he, in the 45th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.

The wind increased when Rainerio Gorostarzu made the kick off in the second half. Coratei AFC's Illart Lebon got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victorio Castaneda hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of Coratei AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Yrendague:s goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rainerio Gorostarzu in the 84th minute of play forced Coratei AFC's goalkeeper Niolaao Medina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Illart Lebon struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Haroldo Cardeño didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coratei AFC. Illart Lebon took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Haroldo Cardeño. Haroldo Cardeño dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Coratei AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
