Spectators: 6775 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fidencio Villaquilambre got the match started through his kick off. Fidencio Villaquilambre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chano Ybañez having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidencio Villaquilambre in the 14th minute of play forced Union's goalkeeper Chano Ybañez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inge Borines could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Tome Escobedo made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Inge Borines in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tome Escobedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th minute of the match Union got a corner. Proceres de Mayo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zuri Casas ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Union's Zuri Casas to fire away a dangerous shot which Tome Escobedo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Batista Espelz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chano Ybañez having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Inge Borines managed to get in a good position for a shot. Union's supporters rose to their feet, but Inge Borines was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tome Escobedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Inge Borines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tome Escobedo having to interfere. Peyo Felix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Tome Escobedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inge Borines took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tome Escobedo. Tome Escobedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Inge Borines had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peyo Felix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tome Escobedo having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Peyo Felix during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th minute Batista Espelz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chano Ybañez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Peyo Felix to make the kick off. Ixidor Curiel hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Proceres de Mayo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zuri Casas was slow to take the kick. During this time Union's players had a chance to rest. The audience was convinced that Peyo Felix's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tome Escobedo was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. When Peyo Felix came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Union fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peyo Felix couldn't finish the play. Inge Borines received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Tome Escobedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the game, Hegoi Caicedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Proceres de Mayo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Union the free kick. The supporters of Union booed when Proceres de Mayo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hegoi Caicedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Batista Espelz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chano Ybañez having to interfere. Union's Chano Ybañez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidencio Villaquilambre in the 69th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Inge Borines in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tome Escobedo saved Proceres de Mayo from getting behind. In the 74thth minute of the game Peyo Felix who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Proceres de Mayo's Tome Escobedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Inge Borines notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Proceres de Mayo's Tome Escobedo. Tome Escobedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tome Escobedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inge Borines, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Inge Borines took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tome Escobedo. Tome Escobedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Panpili Barriga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tome Escobedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peyo Felix, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Tome Escobedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inge Borines in the 97th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Union were the better team. Union's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
