Enekoitz Terrilla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tome Escobedo having to make a save. The supporters of Porvenir booed when Proceres de Mayo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karlo Astiago didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute of the match Eleder Orengo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tome Escobedo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Proceres de Mayo's Tome Escobedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fiz Giumill in the 28th minute of play. After 30 played minutes Porvenir got a freekick which was hit by Eli Sampedro. In the 32ndth minute of the game Fidencio Villaquilambre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Porvenir's Eustaquio Igay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Porvenir getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Furtado Beteta hit a great ball. Porvenir's Eustaquio Igay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Porvenir from getting a goal against them. Proceres de Mayo's Tome Escobedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enekoitz Terrilla in the 42nd minute of play. Fiz Giumill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 45 played minutes Proceres de Mayo got a freekick which was hit by Karlo Astiago. When Fiz Giumill came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Porvenir fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fiz Giumill couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fidencio Villaquilambre to strike the kick off in the second half. When Enekoitz Terrilla came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Porvenir fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enekoitz Terrilla couldn't finish the play. Enekoitz Terrilla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tome Escobedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fiz Giumill, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute of the match Atilano Piñeiros sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tome Escobedo skillfully saved the ball. Fiz Giumill might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tome Escobedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fiz Giumill ran back to his position shaking his head. Karlo Astiago was shown his second yellow card after 71 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Fiz Giumill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tome Escobedo having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Proceres de Mayo's goalkeeper Tome Escobedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Furtado Beteta. Bieito Bujan hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fiz Giumill in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tome Escobedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Enekoitz Terrilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Tome Escobedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, Laureano Cabañas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Porvenir's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Proceres de Mayo the free kick. Proceres de Mayo's Tome Escobedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fiz Giumill in the 95th minute of play. Fiz Giumill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Tome Escobedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
