Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Porvenir's Fiz Giumill started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Enekoitz Terrilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Chano Ybañez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fiz Giumill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chano Ybañez having to interfere. Enekoitz Terrilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Chano Ybañez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Porvenir's Enekoitz Terrilla got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enekoitz Terrilla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peyo Felix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Fiz Giumill took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Chano Ybañez to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fiz Giumill in the 36th minute of play forced Union's goalkeeper Chano Ybañez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chano Ybañez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Furtado Beteta went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 42 minutes into the game, Larra Rioseco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Porvenir's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Union the free kick. After 42 played minutes Porvenir got a freekick which was hit by Larra Rioseco. Peyo Felix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 48 minutes into the match, Union's Inge Borines sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eustaquio Igay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Peyo Felix to make the kick off. Union's Chano Ybañez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enekoitz Terrilla in the 54th minute of play. In the 58th minute Fiz Giumill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chano Ybañez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Porvenir booed when Union was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Zartucha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Panpili Barriga kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Chano Ybañez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fiz Giumill's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. The Porvenir fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Porvenir's Enekoitz Terrilla looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Chano Ybañez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enekoitz Terrilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After having played for 82 minutes, Inge Borines managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Union's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inge Borines was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Union booed when Porvenir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eli Sampedro didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peyo Felix in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eustaquio Igay saved Porvenir from getting behind. If Fiz Giumill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Porvenir fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when Porvenir's Fiz Giumill looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Porvenir fully deserved thier win.
