When Txatxu Cacho fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Proceres de Mayo's protests and gave Txatxu Cacho a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Proceres de Mayo getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Txatxu Cacho hit a great ball. Jaen Reimundez struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Tome Escobedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taruma. When Jaen Reimundez came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Taruma fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaen Reimundez couldn't finish the play. 14 minutes into the match, Proceres de Mayo's Batista Espelz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luciano Ororbia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Oliveiro Llamazares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Taruma's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fidencio Villaquilambre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 43rd minute Batista Espelz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Ororbia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Batista Espelz in the 44th minute of play forced Taruma's goalkeeper Luciano Ororbia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tome Escobedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaen Reimundez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fidencio Villaquilambre stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Taruma's Luciano Ororbia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidencio Villaquilambre in the 53rd minute of play. Batista Espelz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Luciano Ororbia made a huge save. In the 57th minute, Ireno Valdeboys hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the game, Ireno Valdeboys was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Taruma's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Proceres de Mayo the free kick. 66 minutes into the game, Taruma's Jaen Reimundez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tome Escobedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Tome Escobedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliveiro Llamazares in the 71st minute of play. Oliveiro Llamazares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. After having played for 81 minutes, Jaen Reimundez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taruma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaen Reimundez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Proceres de Mayo's Tome Escobedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaen Reimundez in the 94th minute of play.
