Calvet Viesca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Otsoa Becerro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. In the 11th minute Larra Cortada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lalla Belber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guillen Isoba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Otsoa Becerro made a huge save. Thanks to some nice moves Guillen Isoba could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Otsoa Becerro however easily saved by the left post. Lore Bayllo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otsoa Becerro having to interfere. Paulino Obarenes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the match, Guillen Isoba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Otsoa Becerro. Capibindi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guillen Isoba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Larra Cortada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lalla Belber having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Capibindi's zone, Lore Bayllo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otsoa Becerro came out of the goal and Lore Bayllo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Calvet Viesca fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ypytu's protests and gave Calvet Viesca a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute, Calvet Viesca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, Paulino Obarenes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Larra Cortada made the kick off in the second half. Senon Negroni's late challenge caught a Ypytu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Senon Negroni helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd minute, Senon Negroni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Capibindi's Larra Cortada got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 67 in the game by Paulino Obarenes from a close distance when the talented Lalla Belber managed to make a qualified save. Ypytu's players were relieved. If Calvet Viesca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Capibindi's Larra Cortada got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Eriz Rasa fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Capibindi's protests and gave Eriz Rasa a yellow card for diving instead. Eriz Rasa hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After 80 played minutes Ypytu got a freekick which was hit by Guillen Isoba. An unexpectedly hard shot by Larra Cortada in the 83rd minute of play forced Ypytu's goalkeeper Lalla Belber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lalla Belber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Larra Cortada, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After 90 minutes of play Ypytu's Calvet Viesca was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Calvet Viesca hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute Larra Cortada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lalla Belber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Capibindi's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
