Bero Irulegui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orixe Recio, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Sapucai's Bero Irulegui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Presilla in the 17th minute of play. Orixe Recio might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bero Irulegui. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Orixe Recio ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 19th minute, Ladislao Presilla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sapucai's Bero Irulegui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Presilla in the 21st minute of play. Ladislao Presilla struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Bero Irulegui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nacunday. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Presilla in the 26th minute of play forced Sapucai's goalkeeper Bero Irulegui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Nacunday's Urritz Pejuan got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 47 minutes into the game, Donzel Marcha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sapucai's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nacunday the free kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Nacunday's Orixe Recio got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Orixe Recio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bero Irulegui having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sapucai's Hernandez Lagarejos got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute, Etxatxu Torga sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sapucai's Bero Irulegui didn't even have to move. Ladislao Presilla came free with the goalkeeper in the 63rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bero Irulegui could save by the left post. After 74 played minutes Sapucai got a freekick which was hit by Cordario Rivacoba. Ladislao Presilla's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Bero Irulegui skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Nacunday's zone, Donzel Marcha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maureo Yarritu came out of the goal and Donzel Marcha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bero Irulegui made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ladislao Presilla in the 83rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Nacunday's Urritz Pejuan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bero Irulegui. That made the score 0-1 after 87 minutes of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Nacunday eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
