After 2 played minutes Alianza got a freekick which was hit by Cebrian Goyeneta. Alianza's Erauso Zalaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiniebra Jaraba in the 4th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Alianza's zone, Marcelino Urtueta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erauso Zalaya came out of the goal and Marcelino Urtueta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcelino Urtueta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute Nahia Barroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Barreda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alianza's Roque Comparada got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nahia Barroso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baudelio Septiem hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Roque Comparada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramon Barreda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of Ypane FC booed when Alianza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cebrian Goyeneta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ypane FC's Tiniebra Jaraba managed to work through Alianza's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Tiniebra Jaraba dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Roque Comparada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roque Comparada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramon Barreda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Erauso Zalaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiniebra Jaraba, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcelino Urtueta to make the kick off. Iyan Hordas hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Roque Comparada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nahia Barroso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Barreda having to interfere. Ramon Barreda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nahia Barroso in the 65th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dalmacio Griego during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ypane FC booed when Alianza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Griego didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Iyan Hordas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ypane FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Iyan Hordas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erauso Zalaya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emilio Guibar kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Galtero Toldra kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. When Barros Cecilia came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Alianza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barros Cecilia couldn't finish the play. In the 84th match minute, Ypane FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baudelio Septiem to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Alianza's Dalmacio Griego tried to score from far away in the 85th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Erauso Zalaya made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Tiniebra Jaraba sent off a good shot on target. Baudelio Septiem hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After 96 played minutes Alianza got a freekick which was hit by Oro Anton. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ypane FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
