Seating: 1787, VIP seats: 0) Borja's Eutor Bribiesca started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amadeo Irigoras got free with Erauso Zalaya in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eutor Bribiesca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erauso Zalaya having to interfere. Eutor Bribiesca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Roque Comparada came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Alianza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roque Comparada couldn't finish the play. 25 minutes into the match, Alianza's goal looked a bit too open when Eutor Bribiesca came free, but Erauso Zalaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amadeo Irigoras in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Erauso Zalaya, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Roque Comparada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Admon Xavier's late challenge caught a Alianza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Admon Xavier helped the player get up and apologised. Admon Xavier kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Xian Vaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roque Comparada in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Eguerdi Leza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 49th minute, Roque Comparada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nahia Barroso to make the kick off. After 55 played minutes Alianza got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Guibar. In the 56th minute, Roque Comparada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Borja's zone, Nahia Barroso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xian Vaya came out of the goal and Nahia Barroso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amadeo Irigoras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erauso Zalaya having to interfere. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alianza's goalkeeper Erauso Zalaya, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Borja getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Victoro Masses hit a great ball. Dalmacio Griego was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 79th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Cebrian Goyeneta's late challenge caught a Borja's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cebrian Goyeneta helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Alianza:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Borja:s goal. Admon Xavier hit a great freekick 99 minutes into the match. Borja's defense didn't have a chance, in the 100th minute, when Nahia Barroso scored to the left of an out of position Xian Vaya, making the score, 1-1. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
