Spectators: 6775 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 0) In the 6th minute Eutor Bribiesca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado Tebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Melchor Villarroel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eutor Bribiesca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tacuara FC's Conrado Tebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eutor Bribiesca in the 18th minute of play. Xian Vaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fermin Terres in the 20th minute of the match. The supporters of Borja booed when Tacuara FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaizko Ciaño didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Tacuara FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eutor Bribiesca came free, but Conrado Tebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Gilavert charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivan Gilavert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 28 played minutes Tacuara FC got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Gilavert. Fermin Terres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Xian Vaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amadeo Irigoras got free with Conrado Tebe in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Tacuara FC's Conrado Tebe got control of the ball when Duarte Robledo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 41st play minute Amadeo Irigoras came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Conrado Tebe. 1-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eutor Bribiesca made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Amadeo Irigoras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Amadeo Irigoras came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Borja fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeo Irigoras couldn't finish the play. Xian Vaya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Villarroel in the 66th minute of play. Tacuara FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melchor Villarroel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute of the match Admon Xavier shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Conrado Tebe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Eguerdi Leza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Conrado Tebe. Tacuara FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eguerdi Leza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Borja's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
