Honorato Reig blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Batista Hompanera having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Caballern FC's Hilario Barajo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Batista Hompanera. That made the score 2-0 after 27 minutes of play. 33 minutes into the match, Hilario Barajo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Batista Hompanera, 3-0. If Monico Iturmendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute of the match Cristo Cena shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thomas Arruta showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 45thth minute of the game Monico Iturmendi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caballern FC's Thomas Arruta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hilario Barajo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batista Hompanera having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hilario Barajo made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Stefano Santibañez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sorpresa AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caballern FC the free kick. After some careless play in the Sorpresa AFC defense, Hilario Barajo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Batista Hompanera. The Sorpresa AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Batista Hompanera should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Caballern FC booed when Sorpresa AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roldanillo Santervas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eneko Benavidez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Thomas Arruta. Caballern FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Caballern FC's Thomas Arruta got control of the ball when Monico Iturmendi tried to sneak it across the goal line.
