The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Marco Montoia notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Guayaybi FC's Marquez Ahelle. Marquez Ahelle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 13 played minutes Guayaybi FC got a freekick which was hit by Eztebe Rossell. Marquez Ahelle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Montoia in the 16th minute. When Totakoxe Cuadrillero came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Maciel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Totakoxe Cuadrillero couldn't finish the play. Erubiel Tolentin hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute Tximitx Suesa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chayo Ortuño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 minutes, Juango Alamasa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maciel and the Guayaybi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Maciel getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Juango Alamasa hit a great ball. Chayo Ortuño didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elequemedo Galera went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After 43 played minutes Maciel got a freekick which was hit by Juango Alamasa. In the 44th minute, Vincent Bonifaz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Maciel's Chayo Ortuño didn't even have to move. Chayo Ortuño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tximitx Suesa in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Chayo Ortuño made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Elequemedo Galera sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Guayaybi FC's zone, Erubiel Tolentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marquez Ahelle came out of the goal and Erubiel Tolentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tximitx Suesa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marquez Ahelle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Totakoxe Cuadrillero in the 89th minute of the match. Chayo Ortuño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tximitx Suesa in the 91st minute of play. Erubiel Tolentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Marquez Ahelle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Guayaybi FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
