In the 15th match minute, Laurel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calixto Olivera to maneuver through the defense. The OLIMPIA-PY fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when OLIMPIA-PY's Otsoa Conejero looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Martxelin Maria took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Monico Alderete. Monico Alderete dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After 32 minutes, Otsoa Conejero made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Laurel's Monico Alderete tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The OLIMPIA-PY fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when OLIMPIA-PY's Otsoa Conejero looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Laurel's Monico Alderete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otsoa Conejero in the 41st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Laurel's Moncho Angles got a free kick in the 41st minute. Otsoa Conejero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Monico Alderete having to interfere. Ioritz Muste was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alfonso Oberto. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Otsoa Conejero to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Laurel defense, Martxelin Maria kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Monico Alderete. The Laurel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Monico Alderete should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, OLIMPIA-PY's Froylan Loaisa got a free kick in the 57th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Xusto Lope notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of OLIMPIA-PY's Ioritz Muste. Ioritz Muste was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Monico Alderete was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Otsoa Conejero showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-7 in the 63 minute of play. If Otsoa Conejero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute of the match Osasun Galisteo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Monico Alderete skillfully saved the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Serafo Cantillo notched a goal, 2-7, to the right of OLIMPIA-PY's Ioritz Muste. Ioritz Muste was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ioritz Muste took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafo Cantillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Otsoa Conejero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Monico Alderete having to interfere. Monico Alderete didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martxelin Maria went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-8 was the resulting score. Monico Alderete made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Froylan Loaisa in the 87th minute of play. Monico Alderete showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froylan Loaisa, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Martin Monjo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Otsoa Conejero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Monico Alderete having to interfere.
