Zoil Setien hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Cambyreta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leizarraga Gaviria came free, but Modesto Lloreda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xayvion Encalada in the 37th minute of play forced Cambyreta FC's goalkeeper Modesto Lloreda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Reinaldo Luaces hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Curupayty FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Berto Lagunez to make the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Rico Tarsa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curupayty FC's Ximen Cuba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 63 played minutes Cambyreta FC got a freekick which was hit by Reinaldo Luaces. In the 67th minute, Xayvion Encalada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 68th minute, Leizarraga Gaviria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ximen Cuba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berto Lagunez in the 72nd minute of play. If Xayvion Encalada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Modesto Lloreda was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leizarraga Gaviria showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 86 minute of play. In the 92nd minute Berto Lagunez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ximen Cuba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Xayvion Encalada ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Modesto Lloreda was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3.
