Spectators: 6781 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Geraldo Orihuela kicked off to start the match. Karlo Morelle was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 3 minutes into the match. After 2 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Igatimi FC! Sergio Hompanera went to the wrong direction when Senon Cembrana was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Igatimi FC's zone, Santutxo Loma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergio Hompanera came out of the goal and Santutxo Loma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sergio Hompanera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bento Ribalta, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Igatimi FC's Clodoveo Urria got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Pilcomayo AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Clodoveo Urria fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Sergio Hompanera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bento Ribalta in the 21st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Igatimi FC defense, Bento Ribalta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sergio Hompanera. The Igatimi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sergio Hompanera should have stopped the shot. Igatimi FC's Rodolfo Juaristi got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Santutxo Loma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clodoveo Urria struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Jacobo Palenzuela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Igatimi FC. Clodoveo Urria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Palenzuela having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Santutxo Loma to strike the kick off in the second half. Santutxo Loma struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Sergio Hompanera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pilcomayo AFC. In the 53rdth minute of the game Santutxo Loma who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Igatimi FC's Sergio Hompanera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 56th minute Santutxo Loma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Hompanera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Igatimi FC's Olando Obieso got a free kick in the 57th minute. Sergio Hompanera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santutxo Loma's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Pilcomayo AFC's Jacobo Palenzuela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clodoveo Urria in the 78th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santutxo Loma in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sergio Hompanera saved Igatimi FC from getting behind. In the 82nd minute of the match, Bento Ribalta got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sergio Hompanera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Sergio Hompanera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bento Ribalta in the 85th minute. Bento Ribalta might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sergio Hompanera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bento Ribalta ran back to his position shaking his head. Bento Ribalta struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Sergio Hompanera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pilcomayo AFC. Pilcomayo AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
