Mederi Almonte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baiona Ronquillo in the 9th minute of play forced Beatriz's goalkeeper Fernandez Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th match minute, Beatriz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulizes Salcedo to maneuver through the defense. Fernandez Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baiona Ronquillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After 19 played minutes Talavera AFC got a freekick which was hit by Baiona Ronquillo. If Zeruko Curcio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Mederi Almonte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Beatriz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After a rather tough play, Beatriz's Pau Irizar got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Fernandez Fernandez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eladio Almiron's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Talavera AFC's zone, Mederi Almonte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaitano Doblas came out of the goal and Mederi Almonte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute, Mederi Almonte fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gaitano Doblas, passed just outside the right post. If Mederi Almonte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeruko Curcio in the 48th minute of play forced Talavera AFC's goalkeeper Gaitano Doblas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Zeruko Curcio made the kick off in the second half. Chico Varsana kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Mederi Almonte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 57 minutes, Mederi Almonte made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Talavera AFC's Gaitano Doblas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Eladio Almiron was extremely unlucky when he, in the 62nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Baiona Ronquillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baiona Ronquillo got free with Fernandez Fernandez in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Beatriz's Fernandez Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eladio Almiron in the 72nd minute of play. Pes Carbajal charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pes Carbajal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gaitano Doblas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mederi Almonte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eladio Almiron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandez Fernandez having to interfere. Baiona Ronquillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernandez Fernandez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Beatriz fully deserved thier win.
