In the 22nd minute, LA GALAXY's Buinton Runs dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 25th minute, Semeno Torneira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Arsenal de Sajonia defense, Admon Pares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eli Morquecho. The Arsenal de Sajonia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eli Morquecho should have stopped the shot. Orlando Angostina's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Eli Morquecho skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Semeno Torneira kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 39th match minute, Arsenal de Sajonia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Semeno Torneira to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Eli Morquecho successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Dulce was the one to do the kick off. Buinton Runs struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Eli Morquecho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LA GALAXY. 56 minutes into the match, Carlos Dulce dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Baldovino Montane, 2-3. In the 61st minute of the match, Carlos Dulce tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Baldovino Montane saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to LA GALAXY getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Buinton Runs hit a great ball. When Perpinya Quiroz came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Arsenal de Sajonia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Perpinya Quiroz couldn't finish the play. If Perpinya Quiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Carlos Dulce's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baldovino Montane was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. When Arsenal de Sajonia's Carlos Dulce in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The shot was stopped by Baldovino Montane but with some difficulty. 91 minutes into the match, Arsenal de Sajonia's goal looked a bit too open when Admon Pares came free, but Eli Morquecho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 92 minutes, Semeno Torneira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arsenal de Sajonia and the LA GALAXY players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of LA GALAXY booed when Arsenal de Sajonia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Semeno Torneira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the match, LA GALAXY's goalkeeper Baldovino Montane had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Perpinya Quiroz.
