Baiardo Resto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Admon Pares in the 9th minute of the match. Gilabert Cuenia hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Norino Obies's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baldovino Montane read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Orlando Angostina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baiardo Resto having to interfere. In the 22nd match minute, Caraguata AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Ontavilla to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Caraguata AFC's zone, Buinton Runs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baiardo Resto came out of the goal and Buinton Runs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 26 minutes into the match, Jordi Sicilia notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Caraguata AFC's Baiardo Resto. Baiardo Resto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Caraguata AFC's Baiardo Resto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Angostina in the 29th minute of play. Baldovino Montane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norino Obies in the 32nd minute of the match. Baiardo Resto came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by LA GALAXY's Orlando Angostina. But to his dismay, Orlando Angostina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 39 minutes of play, Caraguata AFC's Bartoli Alaiza made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baldovino Montane was left in no man's land by his defense there! Savion Polentinos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Baldovino Montane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Norino Obies managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caraguata AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Norino Obies was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldovino Montane breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half LA GALAXY were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Norino Obies to strike the kick off in the second half. Nelio Iza's late challenge caught a LA GALAXY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nelio Iza helped the player get up and apologised. Nelio Iza hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. If Senon Irala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Orlando Angostina struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Baiardo Resto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LA GALAXY. Orlando Angostina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Buinton Runs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norino Obies received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Baldovino Montane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. LA GALAXY's Admon Pares got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baiardo Resto made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Orlando Angostina sent off a good shot on target. Norino Obies's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baldovino Montane read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Gaitan Carces kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Martin Ontavilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched LA GALAXY eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
