Xizavier Lizaur kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. If Buinton Runs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eladio Almiron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldovino Montane having to interfere. Buinton Runs struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Gaitano Doblas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LA GALAXY. An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Buinton Runs got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Buinton Runs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Talavera AFC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Caio Ballin hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The supporters of LA GALAXY booed when Talavera AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xizavier Lizaur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baiona Ronquillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldovino Montane having to interfere. Baiona Ronquillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Baldovino Montane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the game, LA GALAXY's Buinton Runs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaitano Doblas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. If Orlando Angostina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in LA GALAXY's zone, Baiona Ronquillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldovino Montane came out of the goal and Baiona Ronquillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baiona Ronquillo scored 2-2 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baldovino Montane, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 97th minute, Pepe Cortada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 99th minute Buinton Runs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaitano Doblas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Despite being the better team, Talavera AFC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
