A very good chance. Muno Albarellos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walme Iturbe having to interfere. After 11 played minutes LAMBERCITY UNITED got a freekick which was hit by Sabin Salado. Pero Bezanilla struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Walme Iturbe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lomita. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pero Bezanilla in the 23rd minute of play forced LAMBERCITY UNITED's goalkeeper Walme Iturbe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pero Bezanilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Walme Iturbe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute Pero Bezanilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walme Iturbe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to LAMBERCITY UNITED getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Mano Pedrera hit a great ball. Eriberto Taramona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gartzea Villagomez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Eriberto Taramona managed to get in a good position for a shot. LAMBERCITY UNITED's supporters rose to their feet, but Eriberto Taramona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gartzea Villagomez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ponc Porcayo fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LAMBERCITY UNITED's protests and gave Ponc Porcayo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th minute, Ponc Porcayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Walme Iturbe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Muno Albarellos, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sabin Salado to make the kick off. LAMBERCITY UNITED's Walme Iturbe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Muno Albarellos in the 61st minute of play. The Lomita fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Lomita's Pero Bezanilla looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Josu Veragua's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Walme Iturbe was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. The supporters of Lomita booed when LAMBERCITY UNITED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ponc Porcayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bartolo Terme kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Dei Mascaraque kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Muno Albarellos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Muno Albarellos in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walme Iturbe saved LAMBERCITY UNITED from getting behind. Pero Bezanilla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lomita's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
