With his leg Severiano Redondas managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when Resistencia's Chepe Uria fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victorino Villasana during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Resistencia booed when Terakuã VK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorino Villasana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Severiano Redondas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luke Michelena in the 12th minute. Chepe Uria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severiano Redondas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chepe Uria to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Chepe Uria notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Terakuã VK's Severiano Redondas. Severiano Redondas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Severiano Redondas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chepe Uria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the game, Fabio Sisneros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Severiano Redondas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Paio Bosch hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. The supporters of Terakuã VK booed when Resistencia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aymerick Lacave didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chepe Uria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severiano Redondas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Argenis Fontan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84 minutes, Dario Nobo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Terakuã VK and the Resistencia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th minute Chepe Uria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Redondas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paio Bosch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 7-1 became the score in the 89th minute when Chepe Uria elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to Terakuã VK getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Inocencio Conde hit a great ball. In the 94th minute Chepe Uria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Redondas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Fabio Sisneros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Resistencia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Resistencia had played much better football throughout.
