Club Hernandarias's Raitin Payno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vidal Arzube in the 6th minute of play. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Eriz Lobregon sped through Ybytymi FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Patricio Apellaniz. Patricio Apellaniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriz Lobregon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the game, one of Club Hernandarias:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee ignored Ybytymi FC's protests and gave Cesareo Cossa a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Club Hernandarias booed when Ybytymi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesareo Cossa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Club Hernandarias's Frascuelo Buyolo got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute, Esquipula Gil sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Club Hernandarias's Raitin Payno didn't even have to move. Jabier Villarreal hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the game, Niva Pumarejo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Hernandarias's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ybytymi FC the free kick. In the 42nd match minute, Club Hernandarias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niva Pumarejo to maneuver through the defense. Esquipula Gil, 42 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Segundo Verde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Raitin Payno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Ybytymi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Salvatore Olabe came free, but Patricio Apellaniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Frechoso Randoli fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ybytymi FC's protests and gave Frechoso Randoli a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th minute, Frechoso Randoli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Salvatore Olabe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Segundo Verde might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raitin Payno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Segundo Verde ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Vidal Arzube sped through Club Hernandarias's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Raitin Payno. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Vidal Arzube managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ybytymi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vidal Arzube was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raitin Payno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th minute, one of Ybytymi FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ybytymi FC. Esquipula Gil's late challenge caught a Club Hernandarias's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esquipula Gil helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ybytymi FC's Esquipula Gil got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After having played for 73 minutes, Helder Cueto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Hernandarias's supporters crossed their fingers, but Helder Cueto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Ybytymi FC booed when Club Hernandarias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frascuelo Buyolo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 82 minutes, Segundo Verde managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ybytymi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Segundo Verde was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vidal Arzube in the 83rd minute of play forced Club Hernandarias's goalkeeper Raitin Payno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Segundo Verde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Raitin Payno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raitin Payno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vidal Arzube in the 87th minute of play. Raitin Payno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vidal Arzube, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. If Salvatore Olabe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonel Gene charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonel Gene the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 96 minutes of play, Ybytymi FC's Segundo Verde made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raitin Payno was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Club Hernandarias players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Ybytymi FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
